The price on this package was just a bit more than the lense itself, so why not buy the package and get all the cool stuff it comes with. Very nice tripod and nice bag as well. The lens itself is very nice.

I purchased this package and im very pleased. I was shopping for this lens and alone it was running 249.99 and a new nikon bag which was another 45.99. Why not get everything for 70 bucks less then retail. The bag is great and so is the lens.The tripod is actually very nice and comes in a carrying bag. You cant pass this deal up if u looking for this lens!

The package comes with a lens and an extra battery for D5000. The bag is a little big than I expected, but it can be used as a storage to hold a D5000, 2 lenses, an external flash, plus more space available. The zoom's quality is also very good. I can use it to see clearly a car license plate 100 yard away.
